To me the figure that drives/fetches the most $$ on ebay/collector market are the figures which are harder to find and are in limited runs, which makes sence. So I wanted to have a thread for old and new member to discuss the most valuable figures on the market as we all stumble upon the common figures, it's the odd balls that make us debate if spending 3-4 times retail is reasonable or not. Anybody debating on buying a rare figure and wants price feedback can post it here or just debate on which is the rarest/hardest to find.

IMO

XMO- 1)the wolverine/colossus 2 pack is bring in $50+
2) Deadpool Deluxe $25-40
3) Blob/ Sabertooth box set $30ish
4) Gambit,Maverick,Cyclops,Deadpool $10-20

Spiderman 1) shocker
2) stretch strike venom
3) venom

Thor: 1) Hemidall $4O-100
2) Sif $40-60
3) Warriors 3 figures $10-30
4) Destroyer 4''/8'' $10-30
5) Helmeted Thor/Loki/ $10-20

Cap: 1) Red Skull/variant/comic 2pack
2) CrossBones/variant/comic 2pack
3) Winter Soldier Variant

IM 1) Mandarin $40
2) Comic Whiplash $20
3) Ultimate Iron Man $20
4) Removable mask War Machine $15
5) Iron Monger comic/movie $10-15

MU
1) SDCC Sentinel $200
2) SDCC Archangel $100
3) Nick fury $80-$100
4) Colored Vision $75-100
5) Warpath/ Blade $50-100
6) Archangel variant/havok variant $40-60

What's your list?

Hmmm never heard of this, do you have a link or image to source from? I know for ML figures that they Gargoyle Man from the FF4 line is considered to be 1 of the rarest going for big bucks, along with a few prototype pics I've seen of some rare figures from a wave that never got released.... speaking of which some guy on ebay has wave 5? I think of the oldschool Iron man 5'' toybiz figures that never got released the entire wave, and is wanting like $10,000.

That's more then enough reference, thanks, yeh had no idea that existed or is worth a lot, and by the way he tried to cover up the price I'm going to assume it was $100's if not a $1000. I would love to come across some super rare shit like that, without having to pay super high pricing.

From my experiance I can say without a doubt. That dude paid WELL over 100$ easily. I have seen people spend 100$ without blinking an eye. The way this guy acted. Yeah it had to push a grand.

The SDCC Sentinel is going for $200? I'd sell my tomorrow, and include a cake with it, for two bills.

Personally, the most I've paid for a 3.75" Marvel figure was on MLS Beast. I paid $28 shipped for one MOC. I would've never done that with something current that I could find in stores though.

Oh on another note. For the spiderman series Shocker, I can see if I can get them at Zellers if anyone out there is still looking for them. Ive found 5 in the past but I could always keep an eye out for them.

All it would cost would be retail (+the taxs I have to pay) + shipping. or if you have something to trade. I collect only MOC, nothing loose. sorry

Oh and you can see I live in CANADA, so our retail price isn't 7.97$ lol. Hit me with a PM and I will keep my eye open.

thats a good list there.

Im lucky enough to have the whole thor collection and although i paid more than retail, i didnt pay those prices for Heimdall and Sif. Nowhere near.

I wonder why the coloured vision is so rare / expensive. hes quite a big character so i would have though he would more readily available like captain america etc.

bloody annoying because i want one!

I don't think it's rare, but the 8" Destroyer from the Thor movie line is going for about $50+ on eBay and Amazon now. I bought one on Amazon (Prime--free shipping) for $13 back in July mainly because I wanted a Destroyer for my collection and the 3.75" version was no where to be found and going for way too much online, and now I feel like a genius.

I also ended up getting the 3.75" version at Target for $8 a few weeks ago

I'm not sure if I feel comfortable discussing such a list with members who have items on eBay.

Why?

Do you shop on eBay often?

Are you nervous?

Maybe eBay sellers already are aware of the going rates?

..but maybe not?

I can only hope if they do comic series for the avengers movie, that they put him or something resembling him into the line for the 90% of collectors who cant get their hands on one. I have the phasing one but ITS NOT THE SAME.

I think they should have used the thinner buck for Vision.

I'd love it if they did an all white one.

That's the one.

The best part of that game were the things they said.

"Why should it go well?"

"Yes, its another trap!"

"Call the police."

SDCC Sentinel isn't 200, there are buy it nows around 120. And SDCC Galactus should also be on that list as it hovers right around same price, some lower.

But I like knowing I own everything on the MU list!

And P.S. Someone respond to omega? I have never heard of a cap line variant Winter Soldier outside of the 2-pack one (which isn't considered a variant) either.

I've been monitoring the SDCC Sentinel eBay market pretty closely since I have a second one I'm trying to get rid of, and the price ranges are much closer to the actual cost, $65-$80 at the moment. Maybe that's not including shipping in some cases, and there's the price difference between $80 and $120 or so, but I was personally pretty sad to see the selling prices take a downward turn only three months after release. I suppose everyone who was looking for one now has theirs.

If said list is accurate, I should sell.

BUTTTT...I'd be stuck with about 125 IMs, Caps and Thors that wouldn't fetch my .99c bid.

Big bad toy store offering a preorder of the Purple Sentinel is what killed the market I think. For people that want multiples it was easier and cheaper to wait for the repaint we were pretty much told about when they released the SDCC one. I think if you got it for 60 and can get double, that's pretty good.
