Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the prices we're seeing now are the new "regular" prices. Heck, the Red Hulk series of Marvel Legends was going for $14.99 apiece what...three years ago? DCUC has been on a steady stream of price-hikes for the last two years (and it's only a matter of time before Wal-Mart and Target bump up that $15-ish pricepoint they've managed to hold at for the time being).

Besides inflation and all the other rigmarole, you can likely thank Masters of the Universe Classics for that, given that it shows collectors/adult fans will eagerly eat up $20 six-inch figures so long as they're marketed in the right way. Don't think the retailers and other companies haven't noticed.
