So- keep your eyes open- a lot of goodness is coming out all at once!
An aside, after the disapointment of no new two packs today i noticed two things- first was the Carnage at the frnt of the peg of Spidey figures and second was Iron Man 2 on sale for $13!
Needless to say, I bought both.
Carnage is really...odd. It's an amazing sculpt and it has these awesome ball joints for shoulders, hips and elbows and knees!
On the sucktastic side, the ankles have no articulation and the torso is one solid piece, limiting the poses. WTF? Why make so many great things and then...not go all the way?
It's a bit too bright as well- I'll make up a bloody red acrylic wash and tone the red color down to something a bit more menacing.
Good looking out on the comic packs. I've been waiting for some new stuff to come out from MU for a couple of months now. A lot of new stuff is going to hit soon. I'm particularly interested in the Deadpool/Taskmaster and Silver Samurai ones.
I agree with you on the sucktastic side of Carnage. Overall a pretty good figure from the Spider-man line though although if they went all out on it, then MU would take that over. Most of the Spider-man figures suck in terms of articulation. Interesting to see how the articulation goes for Scorpion and Lizard.
I did not like the shade of red that was used for Carnage too. It is too bright. I touched him up with some clear red acrylic paint from Tamiya Color. You can see the before and after pics below.
