But the thing is, 4H has only let me down once with this line (Tytus). With that outstanding track record (better than any other toyline ever), I'm willing to wait and make final judgement once they're in my hand.
As for Marlena being a "worthless character"; that's the kind of opinion that forces toylines into making a thousand different variants of the same character. I'm sure you would rather have "Jungle Smash Bat-He-Man" or something but real fans need real characters to round out a beautifully collectible and playable toyline.
"Worthless character"?? Really? C'mon. She did as much as Randor and heck of a lot more than Scare Glow or a crappy gimmick like Man-E-Faces.
And if your one of those MOTU collectors that only buys the men, there's nothing wrong with that. Just give us a heads up first next time if you have that biase.
I have no problem with female characters. I like Teela, Evil Lyn, She-Ra, etc. I'd have no problem with Queen Marlena if Mattel were scraping the bottom of the barrel and it was a choice between Queen Marlena, Lizard-Man, and Orko's uncle Montork. Those characters exist to drain hardcore collectors out of their money, rather than they invest said money in gold or other precious commodities to protect against economic uncertainty.
Ram-man, Mekaneck, Sorceress, Mantenna, Rattlor, etc all should have figures before Marlena. Lessee... I can see it now: "epic battle between the Masters and Skeletor's forces... or.... a royal tea party? tee hee, tee hee!" Good grief!
