Actually I have a question for everybody in general, where do you guys seem to be finding it? From my observation it seems like its at Walmart.
EDIT: I LOVE YOU FOR THE PICTURES.
Imo go to Kmart.
NOBODY goes to freaking Kmart anymore.. I went there today (5.17) at 8pm and the pegs were stuffed full, not a single figure had been purchased. Granted they only had wave 1 but still. I had the pick of the litter.. got a perfect paint app ultimates cap.
As for the figure well..
Paint apps: Had the pick of the litter, the paint apps seem fine to me.. the colors really pop which is nice, that said not all of these figures look so great be careful when buying as some of them were quite sloppy.
Accessories: He came with a shield, I for one would have loved to see them opt out of the gimmicky blade BS and just give him a standard shield/stand but what can you do. I'm not a big fan of gimmicks but I honestly don't hate this shield as much as I thought I would.
Articulation: Ah yes, the meat and potatoes of an action figure. These movie line Cap figures seem to have pretty substandard articulation to be honest. The arms are XMO wolverine style minus wrist swivel, the legs are difficult to move due to the odd butt sculpt and the head cannot look up. All in all, the articulation of this line is nothing to write home about (not talking about the SDCC repaint but that doesnt count anyway.) still, I suppose it works OK for what it is.
Final Thoughts: It might just be my own opinion but I think this is one toy line that I wont be going gaga over. There will be a few standout comic series figures to pick up for sure, but all in all the marvel universe figures are better suited for the collector who wants the best of the best. The ultimates Cap figure I bought however trumps the MU version in overall representation of the character so that is why I decided to pick him up. To each his own I suppose.
