At least when Star Wars pulls this crap we get improved articulation and sculpt for the higher price point. Not just a new paint app.
Even with their improved articulation, the articulation of Star Wars figures is inferior to 25th/modern era joe articulation. The presentation of these in my opinion is also superior to the VOTC packaging. These remind me more of MOTU Classics packaging.

i was just wonderin?commando snake eyes looks stupid while his holding his gun as pictured there....
That is pretty bad man, I was surprised to see such an obvious mistake like that.
V2 Snake Eyes just needs a backpack w/sword holder or sheath attached. I had a feeling we were going to see the wave 1 head and hands and boots, and I was right. These figures tend to have the paint apps that everyone wanted, but were left off, such as the painted "I Ching" symbols on Storm Shadow's swords.
I also had a feeling that the HOH Storm Shadow was going to be the repaint of the version from the 5 pack with the same accessories. This one is dead on cartoon accurate. These figures are good for those of you who wanted some of the figures from the 5 pack without having to buy the whole 5 pack.
Despite that, I'm still set on buying both 5 packs, and perhaps none of the HOH figures. I can overlook the different paint apps in the 5 packs, they are close enough for me.
