Yeah, I seriously doubt we're going to get a 6 all new figures pack. Or even something as large as Modok plus repacks. The X-men one was basically just new heads on two figures and nothing else. (And colossus shoulder pads)
Of course, for people who didn't get the comic packs, or missed Colossus, that does make it a good deal.
My bet is any future versions of this that we see are going to be team packs of figures that already came out. It's a great way to get someone new into the line. I said the same thing with Star Wars all the time: Kids are being born every day, not all your customers have been there from the beginning.
Even the three packs just seem to be repaints with an extra accessory figure. Or was until we got wind of the Guardians of the Galaxy Groot and Rocket Raccoon pack. Personally, I'm okay with that. I'd rather buy the figures individually than wind up with more duplicates I don't need, and leave the awesome team packs for the new collectors who just want one team.
(That's how I jump started my Star Wars collection after 8 years away, was with those "pointless" multipacks of characters everyone else already had)
