Chewbacca is coming later this fall in the VC line. However, it's the same Saga figure and will be included in W3 of the Target 3-packs, which will include 3PO and R2 for $20 dollars.

Yeah Saga Legends would be your best bet. In case you don't already know, they have the same blue packaging as the Clone Wars figures. But Hey, if you need a C-3P0 and RD-D2, as Fett mentioned, that's coming out soon as one of those target exclusive 3 packs. So I'd go for that, if you don't care for the droids. Sage Legends for sure.
