I love the over-the-top stuff you guys have mentioned. Some of it is as funny as it is unrealistic. But, this is a fantasy scenario, so might as well go for broke!

I'd just like to point out the setup of this fantasy scenario means you'd only be in charge of the Marvel division, not the "Emperor of Hasbro". But I guess if you want to invade the other divisions and take over the whole thing, it's your prerogative.
As to the above points, have you even been watching the show recently? The animation is great (especially if you can catch it in HD). Facial movements are very expressive, with numerous subtle motions and details that really convey the emotions of the scenes. And that's not even getting into the background stuff.
The stories get better and better, with excellent characterization and continuity. And with each new episode, we learn more background to each of the various characters, places and events in the show.
Oh, and Raph does NOT solve every problem. In fact, he's not even in some episodes. And in one episode, his Mary Sue skills were pwned by another Mary-Sue-ish character/event.
If the only episodes you've seen are in the 5-part premiere, then I would suggest another try with some of the more recent episodes. Of course, if the aesthetic doesn't appeal to you, fair enough. But at least give it a shot for the story. I put it up right up there with Beast Wars and Animated.
