Devil´s Advocate comment: Based on some Q&A from Hasbro toy lines, SW, Gi Joes and MU are made compatible, but are made on different factories at China. So one factory has the Joe molds, other the SW, and even worst, they might have some of the molds of a toy line.

Also, each factory, a different contract of production, and costs and all the burocratic part.
