DCUC is a failing line (Partly to uninterest, huge part due to shoddy distribution and cruddy computer ordering systems). This is Mattel's attempt to stay loyal to the hardcore fans who were loyal enough to support this line for twenty + waves.
(plus meaning the DCSH and Batman and Superman lines that were before it) If this fails, they're not going to assume they were going about it in the wrong way, They're going to realize it's because this line simply does not have the fan interest to keep it going, even in this very limited way.
And honestly? They'd be right.
