Although it was announced the DCUC vs. MOTU line was cancelled, Mattel did promise that both the Green Lantern vs. Zodac and Supergirl vs. She-Ra 2-packs would be out before the end of the year, thus finishing off the line.
Today, thanks to our buddies over at The Fwoosh, we have an in-depth look at the second of these 2-packs: Supergirl vs. She-Ra.
For the DCUC Fan, this set comes with the Linda Danvers version of Supergirl, who, like Bizzaro from the Comic-Con 2011 2-pack, is carried over from the DCSH line. She comes with no accessories and, interestingly, her bio write-up on the reverse of the packaging is for the Kara version of Supergirl and not Linda.
MOTU Fan's get their hands on a She-Ra with this set. She is a straight-up repack, but does feature the correctly colored Sword of Protection, which is positive. She may be just a repack, but she is a good figure that all MOTU fan's should have in their collection. So, grab this set if you don't have her yet.
Again, a nice set. The Linda Danvers Supergirl is a neat choice, as it gives newer DCUC fan's a chance to grab this figure after all these year's since her inital release, although I prefer the modern version in the Kryptonite Chaos 2-pack with Lex Luthor. And She-Ra is a good, all round, solid figure.
Enjoy the attached shots supplied by our friends over at The Fwoosh!
