I get what your saying about the IM Tony Stark head, but here's something else to think about
: it wasn't obvious for most people. In fact, Hasbro DID get away with it for a while even though we had pictures. Not EVERY repaint is a bad one - if it is done creatively. Hasbro for the last two years has reused Joe torsos like crazy, but done so with creative uses of web gear and paint that it wasn't obvious. Sure, they are going to cut corners when they can - ie, most of the "big guy" torsos, female bodies, etc. - but they usually do it well. Yeah, I'm frustrated with how many of the MU figures have painted features instead of molded - and some of them are downright dreadful - but it IS enabling Hasbro to produce a wise variety of figures and occasionally some spectacular ones that are unique molds that they may not get much future use out of. As a whole, its a great line that ties in with the movies pretty well (Thor, I'm looking at you!). Sure, you can complain about a sneaky use of an old head, but if you didn't know it, would you like the figure? It was a pass for me, as I have enough IM figures, but If this is something you wanted, I wouldn't hold this against Hasbro.
