We've got a selection of news bits from Japan courtesy of Masabon today, as today is the release day for Takara-Tomy's sixth wave of Dark of the Moon toys!
First up, in hand images of the Japanese version of Human Alliance Leadfoot, who lacks the sponsor details - not just the Target logos, but all the rest, too, right down to the numbers on the doors.
Today also sees the release of the new
Takara-Tomy Dark of the Moon MechTech campaign
. Three items were released:
Starscream's Null Ray Sword, limited to 6'000 pieces, was available at Toys R Us Japan
Bumblebee's Plasma Blaster Cannon was available at Yodobashi Camera.
Barricade's MechTech gatling claw was available at Bic Camera (not pictured)
All three were apparently limited to 20 pieces per store, available with a purchase of 3000 yen or more on Transformers Dark of the Moon merchandise. They all sport that sharp looking black and silver deco, too.
Lastly the new releases include a catalog, which gives some future release dates for upcoming toys, include Wheeljack and Soundwave!
>November
DD-09 Human Alliance Soundwave 6300yen
DA-28 Striker Optimus Prime 9240yen
DA-33 Seeker Air Raid (Hasbro's Air Raid) 2730yen
DA-34 Deluxe Leadfoot 2730yen
CV-26 Cyberverse Soundwave 714yen
>December
DD-13 Deluxe Soundwave 2730yen
DA-31 Autobot Que 2730yen
Yes, you read that correctly - in Japan, he's going to be called Que, not Wheeljack! Could this be clearing the way to call the alternate head version Wheeljack later on, or merely keeping in step with the movie's dialogue?
