We have several auctions of interest for you tonight, all from Ebay seller anglo. We are delving into the weird and wonderful Japanese released Transformers, who are more than capable of taking a Unicron-sized bite out of your bank balance!
The first auction that caught my eye is this
Headmaster, Trizer
. Trizer was one of six replacement Headmaster heads, released in Japan only in 1987. The idea behind them was that they could be switched between the main released Headmasters, and used as replacements if you lost the original head (and I'm sure most of us, and one time or another, owned a "Headless master"!) All six of the heads rarely turn up on Ebay, and that is why Trizer here is the first part of this feature!
Moving from one rarity to another, we have
Guard City
, who was one of the very last items released in the Generation 1 line, in Japan in 1992. He's a redeco of Generation 1's Defensor, and the set is very rarely seen - and extremely rarely seen in a box in near pristine condition like this one! Just try not to look at the price, trust me on that.
This
Beastformers boxed set
is also noteworthy. These ten Battle Beasts are among those who actually appeared in the Japanese Headmasters series, and includes the "Burstsun" variant of the White Lion, only available in this set.
Other auctions of interest include the huge
Grand Maximus
,
Big Powered giftset of Dai Atlas, Sonic Bomber and Roadfire
, plus Transformers Victory's
Star Saber
and
Victory Leo
. Each of these are not uncommon, but worth mentioning for being items that have rarely if ever been removed from the styrofoam, and having unapplied stickers. These are some of the very best examples of Japanese Transformers, in what is possibly the best condition available (excepting Dai Atlas' yellowing). Unfortunately the prices do reflect this, but check them out to see some of the items that appear on many fan's collection grail lists.
