Now when his spin off movie comes and then they butcher it the rest of the way, okay I'll agree. But for now, the over reactions are just silly. This isn't a deadpool movie, he's just a bit role to fill out the cast while still leaving plenty of room for him to do as he pleases later on. Including getting a real costume. The movie itself, would have made no sense for him to have his costume as yet. We see his pre cancer form, and what could be his after cancer form, but no reason for his "I'm crazy and need a spidey like suit" form yet. The movie is fine. It's just a tease for later.
I agree with you in the fact that Deadpool is not the center of the movie, nor should he be. While he was still just Wade Wilson it was all good. But after he became "Deadpool" it all went downhill.
How can you say that they haven't messed anything up yet? They have Deadpool shooting beams out of his eyes. His mouth is sewn shut. He's got adamantium blades that come out of his hands. Yeah, now that I think about it, THEY NAILED HIM!!!!
Seriously, though. Ryan Reynolds played the part well enough and I totally agree with you that parts were indeed pretty close. It's just all the added crap they tried to put into the Deadpool character that got me. It's like I said before, I just don't see why they feel they need to "improve". And since he is not the the main attraction here there should not have been such an attempt to have him be this complete bad-ass with every single power.
And please tell me how it makes sense to not have him in his costume yet, but it does make sense to give him all of those unnecessary abilities?
