Especially given that's the same method every other failed Mortal Kombat line has pushed out right off the bat. I've given up trying to keep up with which rotating group up musical chairs companies gets the license for a relaunch year after year.
If you want to make a big splash, make your first wave be something other than just raiden, liu kang and 20 variations of the ninjas or cyborgs. It's been done, over and over again. We all already have those figures on our shelves (6" at least). The Jax is the only figure of note to me in the entire line.
