While customization of Transformers is certainly nothing new, the popularity of the live-action movies have certainly paved the way for several artists to step up with their own creations. The increased popularity of "third party companies" has also been able to fulfill certain niche desires of collectors with
some interesting toys
. A great many of these artists start out on our very own
TFW2005.com Boards
!
One such artist is
NATO-BOT
, who once offered a custom kit for
Universe 2.0 Autobot Roadbuster
. With the help and encouragement of long-time Radicon
Viagra Prime
, NATO-BOT completed a very successful add-on kit. Seeing a limited run, this kit proved to be very popular . . . so much that he has decided to offer it again, via Shapeways, a 3-D custom plastic printing site.
If you are interested in how you can get your own set, check out all of the information provided after the jump.
Certainly stay tuned to our
TFW2005.com Creative Forums
, as many artists showcase their customs (both "works in progress" and finished pieces) in
Customs
. You can always see about contacting an artist directly for commissions in our
Commissioner Listing and Feedback
sub-forum, as collectors have been commissioning artists for a great many years now!
