Its a good thing that they finally saw who/what was in there... otherwise they would have been traipsing through the woods forever on a worthless hunt.. endangering themselves even more.. at least this makes everything a little safer.. of course the barrage of heavy artillery could have attracted everything dead within 10 miles.
