yah, this area is really slow to change....im guessing because its an old city the majority of this area is townhouse apartments and it would cost a ton of money to retro fit them all for nonsmoking...but that is just an educated guess, i really have no idea.
i might just end up moving the next town over since none of the places i can even find in this area are even open until next year. there is no way in hell i am staying in that place until then the way it is.
outside of the anger of having my stuff ruined iam just really sad that the people themselves seem to want to be aggressive when confronted the nicest way possible to a situation like this.
either way i cant stay there so it looks like motel/hotel living is where ill have to go until i can find something

i partially answered it above. its an old town places here are townhouses separated into apts. there is really nothing that anyone can do to insulate places like this since they are all wood floors. once it finds it way in there is no way to get it out. it comes through the floor and into the walls. nothing short of gutting these places and totally redoing their insides would do anything
