Name, that really sucks about your collection...there might not be any bi-laws in your area regulating the smoking, however, you can write a letter(send it certified), to your landlord explaining the situation. It's a 10 day notice to fix letter. Regardless of the lack of laws there, you still have a right to a clean and healthy living environment. The landlord can create an addendum to any lease and post it to all residents of the complex. Keep 2 copies of your written 10 day. The second copy send it too your local housing authority. Make sure to note that there are more people living in the apartment that is allowed in your letter as well. It really depends on how far you want to take it...I know moving sucks and it always seems like the easier way out. And the majority of people don't want to be "that person who complains" but at this point what it's done to your collection is nothing compared to what it's doing to your lungs and body.
