So I tried to go to a TRU recently to check out the DC LEGO stuff and it was complete chaos all around. The location wasn't exactly prime considering that it was near a mall and a Best Buy, so I sat in some insane traffic just to get there, and once I arrived, all they had was that weird Joker construct (only one by the way) that isn't really cool IMHO. Plus, it was completely left by itself on a shelf that had nothing else on it, which I'm guessing was because some crazy soccer mom probably dropped it while trying to fist fight another scary woman for a LEGO police set.
Irony.
Anyway, did anyone else notice that Toys R Us didn't have a single GI Joe? I walked around my St. Louis store and realized that they either completely ran out of them, or they just didn't sell them at all. I asked an employee and she seemed confused about it too, but that is what the holidays do to you. We both walked over to the "GI Joe" sign, and below it were only Transformers, so I guess it is a stalemate.
