Yeah! You suck!
Really, making stuff like my Moon Knight tweak is quick and easy- I'm making a Black Bolt and Shroud the same way- no sculpting involved, just basic paint apps.

Do you have any of the Marvel Select Brood that came with the Skrull? If so are they smaller than the ToyBiz? I know they lack any articulation.
I was unaware of the Brood Heroclix, cool idea. I eventually would like to incorporatye some Shi'ar, Starjammers, Brood, Lillandra, etc. into my X-men collection. I almost want to make a running display that covers different arcs/timelines from left to right on the shelf, with the original five fighting Mimic and Magneto through Krakatoa, to the Brood, etc.
That's a great idea!
I plan on making the Exiles- with some tweaking, I think I can get Helix's head to work for Blink- maybe use X-23 legs....and I'll need to make Blink of course- I figure Colussus body, Renegades Duke head, custom wolvie claws and some paint...
As to Heroclix, they have the best Ant Man and Wasp you can find (use the Ultimate wasp because she's even smaller than the SW pack version!).
Also, some of the figs (like Shaman) have clear energy bits that can be glued together for MU effects.
Ever go to CJ's Comics? He's got big plastic bins full of loose figures, dirt cheap- hundreds of Heroclix for a buck a pop too.
If nothing else, they rock for reference when making customs!
