I know that a lot of people are already talking about how they have found G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra toys at Targets and now I'm one of them! Woo Hoo!!! Anyone living in Florida, talking to you CharIJoe, will probable be able to find them at Targets.
They had multiples of each character from what I'm guessing is Wave 1: Snake Eyes, Duke, Baroness, Storm Shadow, Destro and Neo-Viper.
They also had some of the smaller vehicles: Snake Trax ATV, some cool-looking Drill vehicle, a snow mobile and the Armadillo tank. All vehicles come with a figure.
The figures were $7.99 each and the vehicles were a little pricey at $15.99 each (I think they should be about $12 each.
I only bought Destro (awesome, and is an exceptional starting point for a Red Skull custom) and Baroness figures and the Snake Trax ATV vehicle that comes with Scrap-Iron. I like the figures very much and was sorely tempted to buy the Neo-Viper and the Drill vehicle, but it comes with a lousy repainted Croc Master so I couldn't justify spending the loot.
I originally planned on buying Snake Eyes but didn't like how the figure turned out, especially the head with the molded mouth. I'll just wait to pick up the Paris Pursuit figure, which I believe uses the Resolute mold for the upper half of the figure.
The packaging is okay but I really miss the retro cards. I really enjoyed the stackable aspect that made them so easy to store. These new cards don't stack together as nicely.
I checked TRU as well, but all they had were the Duke and Snake Eyes Tough Troopers.
