Yes, and MegaBloks is suing Lego in response. See here for an article about it.

Somewhat ironic, since MegaBloks has been sued by Lego numerous times in several different countries since the early 90's (when MB first entered the small-block format market). Mostly the suits were for apparent trademark infringement (AFAIK, Lego has lost every time). And in this case, I believe it is just another feeble attempt by Lego to regain their monopoly on the building-block market. MegaBloks has been doing business in the US for over 20 years now. It's time to let it go, Lego. I realise that it's something you're not used to doing, but give it a try once.

And TBH, I would love to see Lego try to sue Hasbro over the Kre-O brand. Hasbro's pockets are a hell of a lot deeper than MegaBloks, and their legal team is nothing to sneeze at, either.
