That aside, it's more than a little unfair to blaim the actors for the decisions of the directors and producers, when it comes to costume design.
No, it isn't. If we're talking about the kid who will be playing the new Spiderman, ok sure,.. he's a nobody (right now), but Cage was at the peak of a very successful Hollywood career.. the man was not without a say. If you say he bailed because of how shitty the costume concepts were, then I take back my comment about him, but if he would've went ahead with it (or he saw the concepts prior to aggreeing to do the film, which I would think he would've reviewed before saying yes) I would've thought he was a douche for accepting it.
