Quakehold:
This is
the shit
if you dont want to use stands- your figs can stick to anything- you can even have Spidey on a wall.
It's non-toxic and peels right off a fig with no damage or residue.
Great for sticking effects onto things too!
Headswaps:
Nothing takes the SHIELD soldier from "Meh" to "awesome!" like swapping that tiny pea head for a GI Joe or Star Wars head- and ESB Han Solo looks perfect as Starlord!
I know a lot of you dont do customs...but this is a cinch and really enhances a diorama.
Equipment Upgrades:
Wanna make that AIM or hydra goon look great? Get an X-Acto and stick some of Cyclp's pouches on him. Or a GI Joe knife in sheath.
A lot of equipment on Joes and MU is NOT really molded on, but lightly glued on- stuff like the holstered gun on XMO Wolverine's chest. Stick the fig in hot water for ten minutes or so and use a butterknife (or dull x-acto) to pry the part off- it wont damage the donor figure (
maybe
paint) and it can be glued directly onto a new fig.
All my AIM guys have extra equipment on them- they're still obviously AIM guys, but now loaded for bear and unique.
Anything made from that hard rubberized plastic like cyclop's belt or the AIM bandolier can be easily cut up into an extra grenade for Winter Soldier or gear to upgrade a Hydra soldier.
The guns from MU, Joe and SW all can be cut apart and glued together into unique weapons too- all that stuff is super easy and fun to rebuild into new stuff- and since it's all black, it looks like it's supposed to be that way!
Have fun playing with this- but I warn you now: once you start, it's addictive!
