That has to do with retailers not wanting to carry an old line. They want the new now, even though most passed on FE. Go figure.
Retailers aren't exactly the brightest bunch, but Hasbro will still try to find a way to get those out to market somehow if they reached the blistercard stage already.
MU, and Marvel movie lines are still going strong with retailers. The fact hasbro was still showing new comic packs to retailers at toy fair, new wave figures, etc all supports that.
No worries of anything being canceled this year yet for marvel figures. Plus if you looked at TFW, you might also notice that some figures were just slotted into Prime packaging like cyberverse Evac.
But yeah, it's not that "hasbro" cancels any given line or wave on whims to piss off fans and deny us our figures, it's that retailer support just isn't there for them to get it out, so they have to break that news to the fans directly. It's middleman syndrome, with the retailers being the middleman that have the power between the customers/fans and hasbro, while hasbro gets all the blame.
(Not aimed at you specifically Exodus, you just had the most recent quote about it. Ditto to the whole Rouge Rogue thing which I hope Synapse reads before he makes that mistake again elsewhere and gets the same mockery because of it, and others read so they don't make the similiar mistake and get similiar reactions.)
