I have a WiP display base/dio that has an industrial feel to it,if you go to my collection pics,you can see it there,for the floor id reccommend the wire mesh you get for motor vehicle body repair,it looks great glued onto the floor,you can then paint it,rub it with sandpaper and it has a nice worn look to it,then for the walls just use as much cabling and pipe of diferent diameters as you can,google images will be your best friend for reference material...
