In 2002 I watched the last toon but fell behind. I'm slowly watching it again on DVD. Impressed so far, and it only increased my desire for more motuc figures.
The 2002 series was excellent and highly underrated. I feel like it was cancelled too early. I just finished watching Season 1 Vol. 1 of the original FILMATION series and Season 1 Vol. 1 of She-Ra. They're both excellent and She-Ra is better than I remembered. I think at the time when I watched it as a child, I was too immature to appreciate it because it was the "girls" He-man but it's got a much darker theme and the stories were more in-depth and deep for what they were. It was a world of magic that was enslaved by Horde science. Awesome.

Haha, it comes from having almost zero toys as a kid. TV and drawing and imagination! When I got some second hand toys which were He-man, I treasured them like crazy (even if I did wreck 'em pretty bad, LOL) but it made me want to find out everything about the world. I was probably the most annoying kid to play toys with because I'd always be like, "No! That's Man-E-Faces, he's a good guy. He's on the good side, don't put him with Skeletor!!! That's not his weapon, that goes with Grizzlor!" LOL. Yeah, the DVDs... they were hard enough to find when they came out. Now some of the volumes are cheap and easy to find, but others are around $100. I'm glad I got them when I could. Free low res episodes on YouTube, though.

Not sure if they're available on Canadian Netflix. Cheapest place for MOTU FILMATION series is Amazon.ca. Sometimes 75% cheaper than eBay... Plays great with no grainy artifacts on my 1080p TV even though they're just standard DVDs.
