I want MOTUC Teela 2002 style! She kicked ass in that series!
As far as I'm aware, there never were 2002 heads for Teela or Man-At-Arms, although I would agree that in this case, I would have liked a 2002 head for Teela. Man-At-Arms pretty much looks exactly the same throughout, so, unless you mean the non-mustache version AKA young Man-At-Arms, AKA the vintage Man-At-Arms style, he was re-released (officially) and still had the 2 swappable heads. The mustachioed version is the FILMATION version. They put a mustache on him because they felt that he didn't look fatherly enough without it and in a way, they're right. Like I said, would have loved a 2002 styled head or at least with her hair parted and a long ponytail instead of the bun. 2002 Teela had a very attractive design to modern standards. Huge chunk of 2002 had a major Egyptian influence though where as old school He-man was more of a Skandinavian/Buck Rogers influence. If I misread what you said and you're actually saying that ToyGuru says that they'll never be using those heads, then yeah, that could be true, although they've said this before and we ended up with tons of 2002 stuff so take it with a grain of salt.
**EDIT** BTW, someone made a sweet Teela MOTUC custom head with a long ponytail but I can't find it right now.
Actually, if you think about it, the MOTU Classics head is more like a combination of vintage Teela and 2002 Teela. In the original MOTU, Teela's hair was quite different and it was clear that her hair was very short. On this figure, you can tell that her hair is quite long, but is simply up in a bun.
