Waves 1 & 2 are both out. They came out at the same time. In the US, Walmarts stocked only Wave 1 at launch, while TRU and Target only got Wave 2. Wave 2 has the movie figures in it. Wave 1 does not. These case assortments have been listed on the online retailer sites since the end of January.
According to Hasbro at Toy Fair, movie Hawkeye, Black Widow, and the yet-to-be-revealed enemy are in Wave 3. There's been no mention of any of those figures being exclusive to anywhere. They won't be. They'll probably be hard to find, yes, thanks to Hasbro's poor distribution choices, but not exclusive.
Nick Fury is in wave 4. Beyond that, nothing else has been mentioned by Hasbro, but Curto hinted on CTR that there will be three different "aliens", so take that for what it's worth.
I wouldn't trust a Hasbro rep on the phone to know anything about Hasbro's products. Collectors care about individual figures, retailers do not. The line from the Hasbro rep saying it's an exclusive sounds to me like they just wanted to get off the phone as quickly as possible.
To me, it just sounds like metalalchemist's supplier only got the wave 1 revision 2 case, that's all.
Sounds pretty convincing and logical to me.
People at the U.S. seem to only see him at walmarts. Anyway, I don't live at the States, just got him at ebay for $9 (not incredibly expensive, I think)
Thank you very much.
