Sounds cool, I'll have to check that out. I have a soft spot for Punisher comics but the story has to be decent.

And it's stayed consistantly good since too- I jumped off when for a while the art crapped out (hate Joe Mad's cartoony crap).

If you want some additional kickass stuff, you need the new Daredevil and Punisher series!

Really- they take street level heroes helping (or killing in Punisher's case) normal people with crazy problems and set all three firmly into the Marvel Universe without losing the realism of thir supporting casts.
Best of all- events in daredevil have been building to a huge "everyone out to kill DD" confrontation and it crosses over into Spidey and Punisher books-
On a recent case, DD helped a blind kid escape a mob hit and aquired a piece of super-technology that has key information on all of marvel's big mob and terror organizations- Matt's senses go nuts trying to "look" at it because it's made from the "4" disk of a FF costume- all unstable molecules!
But since Matt is blind, he has no clue where it comes from and has been keeping the thing as insurance so the various bad guys wont carry out their hit on the kid...but that makes DD a huge target for everyone with a stake in the information- Hydra, AIM, the Mob, Black Spectre, etc.
oh...and DD slept with the Black Cat, pissing off Spidey no end, but she was playing matt to try and steal the disk for the mob for crazy money.

As to Punisher...it's THE single BEST PUNISHER series to date! NOT only is it incredible artwork, but the narrative in the story is fresh and awesome- no thought balloons! everything that happens is either shown or something said by someone- and Punisher has said maybe ten sentences in as many issues! There are supporting characters that each have their own motivations and quirks- including Norah Jones from Spidey's books- and for the first time ever it looks like Frank is going to have...a partner?
And like the others, it's set firmly in the MU- one of the main drug lords Frank is trying to kill is a former SHIELD agent, with all sorts of training and SHIELD high tech stuff at his disposal.

If I had to choose only three titles from every company to read each month, Punisher would definitely be one of them- amazing art too!
