No worries man, it's not a big deal, some mod would eventually move it or unless you kept bumping the thread, it would eventually fade from the main topics section and into the normal list of threads. but checking out ebay.ca and ebay.com he doesn't look cheap, he's like $40-50 range plus shipping, even lose. I would add it as a saved search for yourself and get updates when more get listed. Or contact some sellers and make a lower offer, despite the value they have on the item, it's only worth that if someone is willing to pay it. And if nobody does then they're losing money on relisting fees and storaring it. If they were collectors they would be keeping it, but they're not they paid less and plan to sell for a profit, sometimes you can find some great items, by pm'ing a seller for a lower price.
