Agreed. I mean they proved w/ the Avatar line that they CAN do good articulation in this scale, and then MAJORLY dropped the ball on the GL line.
C'mon Mattel which do you really think kids want the Kilowog on the right or one like my custom one on the left? It's a no brainer.
Don't get me wrong the sculpts on most of the GL line were great, but when you have 20 year old articulation on an action figure competing against MU it ain't gonna sell worth crap. No matter how good the sculpt is.
As to the Happy meal toy comment you're totally right. I was just saying that to my 14 yr old son the other day when we came across the HM YJ KF my 3 yr old has. I mean the HM ones had neck, shoulder, and waist artic. If the hips were articulated it'd of been better than the Mattel one by 1 poa.
