Fail, he meant to use the word "best" instead of "very unique".

He wants to cancel the series because he wants stand alone episodes instead of story arcs that span multiple episodes. That's the main reason. He said he doesn't want there to ever be a moment when someone turns on the show and feels like they don't know what's going on because they missed the last three episodes.
