I loved the 90's Spider-Man and X-Men series, even if the animation wasn't always the best. I grew up with them and they shaped my understanding of those character as a kid. I do think that the stories in those shows still hold up well after all this time, most of them anyway. I'd be down for anything that tops that.

On the topic of Ultimate Spider-Man I've only watched half of the first episode as I haven't had the time but I don't know how I feel about the whole team thing. Spider-Man has always been inclined to team up with people but never for long, until recent years I guess. Would have liked it if they had chosen Iceman and Human Torch.

They could have made it like Batman the brave and the bold where spidey would team up with a different hero each episode
