If I may suggest.. create some different height and configurations.. you will get use out of the upper space of the shelves and create more interesting diplays. I use anything i can get my hands on. Glasses.. clear condiment trays..empty jars of various sizes. Or you can go the riser route from Smalljoes.com. (I was going to buy a couple but started just finding stuff i could use instead )

EDIT. Oh and if you are interested there are a ton of sites that instruct you how to add extra shelves to the Detloff.. some people find the shelves too far apart.
