but in this day and age, you are playing yourselves. your collections will only be worth what someone is willing to pay for them, not what the vintage market entails. MOC MU Vision will not end up in the same conversation as MOC '85 Snake Eyes w Timber.
night and day.
But if this was said to people who had this dilemma back in the 80's and they all opened their shit. They'd be kickin themselves. I don't expect any of these MU figs to be worth a fortune. But when I hand them down to future generations. Being in the packages 30 years from now. They'll def be more valuable than lose ones.
I've seriously weighed all the pros & cons of each side of the argument & I find myself sticking to my guns and leaving them in their packages.
If I had more ML figs, I would open them. They just look better open to me than the lil guys. But my other problem with that is. I have 0 ML other than the two I just opened. If I were to collect the older ones I'd be paying retail x 2 or more in most cases. Forking over $20-$50 on a single figure means no way am I going to be able to justify opening them.
I realize I could buy loose ones. I'm jut no used to that unless it's something from the 80's or older. However I will be purchasing a few loose ML. I want a Task Master sooo bad.
