Matty said they'd be shipping out the DCIE members their Jay Garrick figures 5-7 days after the 5/15 sale as the figures would just be arriving at their warehouse on May 15th, with 5-7 days to process all the orders.
Today, in DCUC News:
Coming this July to DCIE and DC Fan's alike is the next offering from Mattel -
Rocket Red
! And The Fwoosh has our first in-depth look at the figure!
One of the oversized figures being released through the club and MattyCollector.com, this is one awesome piece fan's have been demanding in the DC line for quite some time.
He is based off the DCUC Wave 7 Atom Smasher figure and sports white metallic paint, great articulation and awesome little wrist blasters!
The figure pays homage to its comic counterpart very well, although an interchangeable head would've been nice, as was done with Starman.
This is a figure I am eagerly awaiting the release of, as I am a BIG fan of both Geoff Johns Rocket Red Brigade and the JLI. If I had to pick one thing to complain about however, it would be that this figure should've been the character comic fans are most familiar with, Rocket Red #7 - Dmitri Pushkin. This figure is based, however, off Rocket Red #1 - Josef Denisovich, who wasn't in the comics all that long.
In any case, this is an awesome looking figure and I seriously can't wait to add it to my DCUC/DCIE/DCAS *whew* shelf this summer!
Enjoy!
