Last week I posted my Jedi Spiderman and this week I followup with the Sith Venom I promised. Now, once again, Star Wars is not my forte, so I just kinda ran with the idea. I started on this guy first and came up with more ways to maintain his traditional Marvel look than I did with my Spiderman. I wanted to use the Mac Gargan Spider emblem as I prefer the way it looks, but also wanted to play with the concept a little. So, while I maintained the traditional white portions over the symbiote, I also made it red over the flesh to give it an engrained, bloody look.
I added sculpt where I wanted him to have the symbiote, and cut short a lightsaber to sculpt into his hand, making it a part of the symbiote itself. I thought spikes would look cool so I added them down one arm, and used twist ties for the tendrils on his back and arm. I took an executioner hood and cut it down to fit on the Spiderman body, then sanded down a portion of the side to make it look better, then added sculpt over the eyes. I wanted to use the symbiote as a way for him to channel the force so I have purple lines on portions of the symbiote and webbing to give the effect.
Recipe:
Body - MU Dark Spiderman
Lower Legs - Thor Movie Hogun
Hands - not sure
Lightsaber - Star Wars Dooku
Webbing - random force effect
Head - McFarlane Executioner
