The funny thing is, Imaginext isn't even scientifically accurate, either (and that's even allowing for the kiddie-style look). Maybe the toy makers think that if they get too accurate, they'll lose the fantasy aspect of it (pure rubbish of course, but then I'm not a toy maker).

I will say that Jurassic Park would have been a completely different movie if they had used the real version of V. mongoliensis instead of its "cousin", Deinonychus.

You might want to clarify that a raptor's body was about the size of a turkey but its total length from snout to tail was about six feet. Otherwise, people might assume that you have six-foot-long turkeys living near you.
