One series that I would love to see as a toy line (but never got one) would be Die Hard. But maybe I can make my own John McClane when Retaliation toys hit my area next week (read: year).

While I stand firmly on the side of Star Wars when it comes to picking one or the other, I am a fan of Star Trek as well.
I don't consider either franchise boring. The only reason SW toys are boring is because between Kenner and Hasbro, they have done just about every single character in that universe.
At least with Star Trek, they haven't fully tapped that universe yet. It has 4 more movies than SW, more written fiction and more TV series. Part of the reason for that untapped potential is that the toys that have been released for it are by-and-large crap (the Mego figures were good for their time).
PS: by the way, in coming down on Star Trek, you do realize you open yourself up to attacks from Trekkies/Trekkers, right?
Of course, the same thing would happen if you went in the opposite direction.
