I've been slowly talking my wife into letting me build one to bring to conventions. There's batmobiles, why can't I have this one?

Remember when the action figures that came with vehicles had the same movement and articulation as the singles? Whose bright idea was it to, you know... NOT? I'd actually buy these vehicles if the accompanying figs were of equal quality, since I have zero interest in the vehicles themselves.
