Part of that has to do with the economy too and the rising costs of plastics, mold creation and as listed above china factories.
Though I thought hasbro was looking into other countries to see if they could get cheaper manufacturing deals. Considering all this hoopla though, I'm guessing that fell through.

On the flipside though, that could mean exploration for lines they solely hold. Like MASK, Inhumanoids, Micronauts, etc. Inhumanoids at least would work out great for marvel fans if MU gets a mole man.
