That's kind of the whole point behind the movie-line comic series, so they can do stuff like that.

MU is diverse with body types. Some better than others. Look at the first ironman and black panther figures, then the human torch, and now commander rogers and crossbones. They all use the same articulation types, just differently intermingled for best effects. So if it's under the MU banner, it's still MU. Now whether or not you like the figures is another matter, but taste doesn't determine what they are or aren't.

Like the upcoming Ironman Mandarin pack. That's pure MU even though it uses IM2 molds. Just like Transformers figures that may get slotted into different lines from where they once were. That paint scheme for that transformer is still unique to that line even if the mold was created for a different one. The same applies to MU.
For the sake of argument let's agree to disagree one thing is for sure we are both mu fans
