Excerpt from" The Book of Nashard"

'The being known as Xion is an enigma altogether. As I write this journal, I am disappointed by the lack of true genuine information regarding this being. What is known is purely based on rumors and legends passed down through the ages by mystic elders. What follows is a corroboration of those legends.'

It is said that Xion was once the god Shedora's most trusted angel and adviser. Ancient and powerful, Xion grew angry when Shedora created the physical universe and particularly the planet Teq'uilan Shedora. The evil god To'dar had warned Xion and a caste of angels that Shedora cared little for the angels and was more interested in his newest creation, humans. However, To'dar als predicted that in time, Shedora would tire with this new creation also. Xion believed this new physical world and universe should belong to the angels whom were loyal to Shedora since the beginning of time. Under To'dar's influence, Xion spoke out against Shedora. This act of defiance would prove to be Xion's ruination. To prevent Xion from causing discord amongst the other angelic castes and converting them as well, Shedora struck Xion mute and disfigured before casting hm to the ruins of the underworld and the rule of To'dar. To'dar used Xion's anger towards Shedora and his hatred for the humans as the ultimate tool in securing his control and corruption of Xion. Xion then became known as To'dar's personal hound.

Xion is neither demon nor angel, but both existing in one form. He is in constant conflict with himself and all he once held as truth. Xioon realizes certain truths in To'dar's predictions. Shedora no longer cares for either angel or human. The creator has lost interest in his creations. Death is the only truth in Xion's mind. The only certainty. He is a harbinger of ruination, but is ruined himself. Will he ne day realize the manipulations of To'dar and the timeless games played by both gods? Which god is the true god to be upheld. Despite his lies and manipulations, In a sick way, the evil god is at least present and proof of that presence is noted. Would To'dar be considered the evil or would the creator who turned his back on his creation in its most desperate times be the evil? Only time will decide."
