@ice - I don't know if this is your first SDCC. I think I can speak for other veterans when I say that this isn't really a "Comic Con" anymore; more of a pop culture convention. If there are any TV shows, movies, etc. that your wife enjoys they'll likely be there. Also, there are a TON of offsite parties, screenings, etc to go to near the con. If nothing else, San Diego has some great restaurants
My wife and I went from nothing but comics and toys one year, to nothing but panels, to nothing but meet & greets, LOL.
