By way of an official Hasbro Malaysia catalog, we have got a look at some upcoming Transformers Prime Voyager Class toys. This catalog shows Voyager Waves 3 and 4 (and beyond...?)
On show here, and confirmed to be getting a release in Hasbro's Transformers Prime line outside Japan are:
Ultra Magnus
- big blue truck like the Cyberverse toy. He has a cannon emplacement on the rear of the truck near his tow hitch which is his MechTech weapon. It converts into a gigantic hammer.
Thundertron
- Blue wolf / liger that transforms into a peg-legged robot mode. His MechTech is some kind of claw weapon which transforms into a sword. He is being marketed as a part of the new third faction, the
Star Seekers
, which he was introduced as the leader of in the Transformers Exiles novel.
And as a shock reveal,
Skyquake
- the Decepticon sleeper from episode 6, Masters and Students, killed in his first appearance, is getting a toy. He's a straight-up redeco of Dreadwing but has a modified MechTech weapon to represent his show model's different weapon.
Speaking of
Dreadwing
, he is also shown, and like all these others his toy bio and tech specs is revealed in these images.
Notable by his absense is
Breakdown
- so if you are worried this one might be passed over for a US release you might want to jump on a Japanese release of this one when it comes out later this week. I personally would not worry too much because even with a two-episode wonder like Skyquake getting the toy treatment, all odds are Breakdown is simply in a future assortment. I'd still recommend investing in the Japanese one if you "must own" a version of the character though.
