I volunteer with kids and this definitely could send up some red flags with parents. My only advice would be to have direct communication with the parents and let them know your intentions, whats and whys. This may sound like too much of a big deal or making a mountain out of a molehill but trust me, do your due dilligence on this. As amazing as this site/forum is, a lot of "adults" don't understand our love of toys and may be quick to freak out.

Kudos to you, Shortysben, for thinking of helping this Arker out and for wanting to do the right thing.
